Membership Types
AMP BJJ offers a variety of membership plans tailored to meet your training needs. The specifics of your plan, including fees and benefits, are outlined at the time of sign-up.
Billing & Payment
Membership dues are billed automatically every two weeks beginning on your sign-up date, regardless of attendance.
Accepted payment methods are credit card or electronic check (eCheck). Credit card payments incur a 5% processing fee; eChecks are free of charge.
All payments, fees, and uniform purchases are non-refundable.
If a payment is declined, you remain responsible for the balance. Training privileges may be suspended until the account is brought current.
Accounts that remain delinquent may be referred to collections, and you agree to be responsible for all associated costs, including collection fees, attorney’s fees, and court costs.
Late Payment Policy
A $20 late fee will apply to payments not received within five (5) days of the scheduled due date. It is your responsibility to update billing information prior to the payment date.
Membership Cancellation
Membership may be canceled for any reason with a thirty (30) day written notice by email to
train@ampbjj.com
or by text to 512-222-8051. The 30-day notice period always includes one final billing cycle. The last month will be charged in full and will not be prorated.
Canceling your payment authorization does not cancel your membership obligation. You remain responsible for all outstanding balances.
Membership Freeze
Membership may be paused for a fee of $5 per member per week. Requests must be submitted at least seven (7) days in advance. Freezes cannot be applied retroactively. Freezes are limited to sixty (60) days at a time, no more than twice in any 12-month period.
Any delinquent balances must be paid in full prior to a freeze taking effect. Exceptions may be granted for documented medical reasons with a physician’s note.
Rules, Conduct & Termination
Members and parents of minors agree to follow all gym rules and coach instructions to maintain a safe, respectful environment.
AMP BJJ reserves the right to revoke membership immediately, without refund, for behavior deemed unsafe, disrespectful, or disruptive to the training environment.
Uniform & Equipment
Members are required to wear an official AMP BJJ uniform and gear during all classes and AMP BJJ-sponsored tournaments. Uniforms and gear must be kept in clean, safe condition.
Non-AMP BJJ uniforms or unapproved equipment are not permitted.
Health & Safety
Members must be free from contagious illness and not train while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Members are responsible for disclosing any pre-existing medical conditions that may affect training and for obtaining medical clearance before participating.
Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk
Participation in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury. By becoming a member, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.
AMP BJJ, its owners, instructors, staff, and affiliates are not liable for any injury, illness, accident, or damages sustained on the premises or at any AMP BJJ-sponsored event, whether arising from negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AMP BJJ from any claims by third parties arising out of your participation or your minor child’s participation.
Media Release
By joining AMP BJJ, you grant AMP BJJ the irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free right to use photographs, videos, or other media of you or your child taken during training, events, or AMP BJJ activities for promotional purposes. This includes but is not limited to use on websites, social media, newsletters, and advertisements.
Opt-out requests must be made in writing before media is captured. AMP BJJ will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests but cannot guarantee exclusion from group media.
Schedule & Pricing Changes
AMP BJJ reserves the right to adjust class schedules, membership pricing, or policies at any time. Members will be notified of changes via email or other official communication channels.

ACH Payment Authorization
By enrolling, you authorize AMP BJJ to initiate recurring debits from your bank account or credit card. Returned transactions may be subject to non-sufficient fund (NSF) fees in accordance with state law.
Canceling your payment method does not cancel your membership obligation. Any outstanding balance remains due.
