Family Class
The Family Class is one class, one mat, one schedule. You learn the same techniques, drill with mixed pairs, and finish the night together. It's the program that makes AMP different — and the fastest way for a busy family to start training.

Do parents and kids really train in the same class?
Yes. The Family Class is one mat, one schedule. Parents and kids drill the same techniques side by side — kids in mixed groups with kids, adults in mixed groups with adults — and the class finishes together. It's the program that makes AMP different.
What ages can join the Family Class?
Kids ages 6 to 13 and any adult — beginner or experienced. Younger kids (ages 3 to 5) train in our dedicated Preschool BJJ program.
Is the Family Class beginner-friendly for parents?
Completely. Most parents who join have never trained a martial art before. Coaches walk you through every position, and you drill at your own pace. There's no striking and no live sparring on day one.
How long is each class and how often should we train?
Each Family Class runs about 50 minutes. Most families train 2 to 3 nights a week, but you can come as often as your schedule allows on an unlimited membership.
